Heal and begin to Shine
I have been in a state of "Luctus" laminating bitterly over what was, and what could have, yet filled with fear to embrace what his perfect will is.
Truth be told, many of us are still mourning over what was, while slowly embracing what is, desiring the restoration of joy that David prayed for and a renewed spirit. Samuel in all his years of walking with God, honestly did not miss it when it came to anointing the "Next King" he was looking for a replacement in the image of Saul, that could remind him of what was, David was a new era, and the perfect will of God.
This is where I had to make peace with all this grief... I've been trying to move on with a sense of familiarity, fearful of embracing the fullness of a new season. Familiarity doesn't always mean comfort and safety. Fear isn't deadly and darkness doesn't mean evil, grief is just a gateway theirs more on the other side. Unable to embrace the fear and darkness will keep you from walking in greater levels of life, your seek for light, requires that you face fear and darkness.
God doesn't dwell in light (he is light) but in thick darkness, our seeking after him reveals his light,
"Light doesn't shine in light." So why would you believe your success and future is covered in light, it's within deep darkness and your ability to navigate the darkness to reveal the mysteries of light will prove how far you will go to become. Now beloved, boldly embrace your fears and the darkness you've been running from, you'll never see the fullness of who you are until you embrace what you thought was the end of you, and become all that you are.
If death is the way to greater things, then darkness is the entrance to deeper revelations. You can't shine if you've never outshined the darkness.
James 1:17
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
People require your wisdom and light, will you continue to grieve over the unpredicted weathers of life that roll in with dark clouds to prevent your light from shining? Have you ever wondered why the sun shines brighter and hotter after the rain? We only see rainbows in the midst of the sunlight and think dark rain clouds.
Until we all behold Him.
Awesome 🤩
