The 5W’s of intention

We live in a day and age where everyone wants to become SOMETHING, making a meaningful impact that will leave their names printed on the shores of history. Honestly, nothing is wrong with wanting to leave a legacy; the Bible actually calls you a good man: “A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children…” Proverbs 13:22. My belief is that we must first come into the identity of the WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, and WHY. All of these come back to the intention of leaving a lasting impact. Something I had to learn recently was the power of intention and my time. The time we are given is valuable, and as the aphorism goes, “Time waits for no man.” Therefore, who is the Who behind my intention? Who am I called to? Knowing this is critical to one’s growth. You’re called to a particular people and only to them. Then we need to know the What. What are we called to do?
